Melissa Tran - Program Manager
Melissa's career in HIV care services began in 2014 at Council of Community Services' HOPWA (Housing Opportunities for Persons Living with HIV/AIDs) program in her hometown of Roanoke, VA.
Her passion for working with people living with HIV prompted her move to Virginia Commonwealth University’s Ryan White program in 2018, where she initially served as a Medical Case Manager.
Since then, Melissa has become the program's manager overseeing the patient-facing staff and support services of the program.
In her time at VCU Melissa also obtained her Master of Social Work degree and Certificate in Non-Profit Management. When she is not working, Melissa enjoys spending time with friends, family, her labradoodle, Lulu, and her four-year-old son, Lucas.

Ryan White Case Manager Supervisor
Claudia is a Certified Geriatric Case Manager, HIV Medical Case Manager, and Case Manager Supervisor. She has been an advocate for individuals who are living with HIV, and older adults, for over three decades. Claudia earned a PhD from Capella University where she completed a dissertation focused on HIV and Aging.
