Allie Farley, RD - Registered Clinical Dietitian
Allie has been practicing through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within the field of clinic nutrition since 2010. Allie has had the opportunity to offer her nutritional expertise to individuals of all ages, infancy through the elderly. In May of 2019 she started working within the Ryan White Program at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System offering nutrition services specifically to those People Living with HIV (PLWH). In her current position she works in a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic providing medical nutrition therapy and has assisted in establishing multiple nutrition programs. Programming consists of nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, exercise, a collaboration with a local farm and resources to improve food access/reported insecurities.
Prior to her role with the Ryan White Program Allie had worked as a team member within the VCU Massey Cancer Center Integrative Health Program. Before moving to Virginia in 2018 Allie held a position as a dietitian at West Virginia University Medicine within the Mountain State Cystic Fibrosis Center. Allie obtained her bachelor’s degree of Science in Human Nutrition and Foods at West Virginia University and completed a Dietetic Internship while also earning her master’s degree of Science in Dietetics at Marshall University.
